iAM Indigen Scholarship Program

November 17, 2018

Indigen does not only provide gifts to the poor indigenous children to meet their needs for today; Indigen gives hope to these children to prepare them for the challenges of tomorrow.

That is why today, we are launching the iAM Indigen Scholar project for the poor and deserving students from different sectors of the indigenous population.

Most public schools in the Philippines from kinder level to high school are free in terms of tuition fees. But there are miscellaneous expenses that these kids incur when they attend schooling. A lot of them, due to lack of income sources for their families, even these minor expenses they can not sustain, so they drop out of school at early age.

Another reason why some of these kids drop out is due to their very remote locations that going to school on a daily basis becomes impossible for them.

So the primary objective of iAM Indigen Scholarship Program is to give truly deserving poor children a chance to continue their studies by providing for their sustenance in order to prevent them from losing grip of a brighter future if they stop schooling due to their inability to self-support their very basic needs.

Since tuition fees are free in public high schools, Indigen will look for sponsors from within our supportive affiliates who will be willing to donate a small amount on a monthly basis that will help a child with his or her allowances, boarding (if they live far away from school), school supplies and other expenses.

Indigen will simply replace their monetary donations with Indigen coin.

This will allow a child to continue and focus on his or her studies without being bothered of what to eat or what to wear tomorrow.

If you want to join our advocacy, you can easily start today by visiting https://indigen.foundation/shop and your every purchase of Indigen coin help us give these poor children hope for a better tomorrow.
